Be prepared to spend many hours reading engineering magazines finding technology for new products and updating older products.
You will learn about programming yet we don't expect you to actually program anything useful. More along the line of learning how to lead programming groups.
Don't be surprised if you are sent to various engineering shows and software conventions.
And you will learn about automation for production and distribution.
